Position Summary
This is a part-time, seasonal position beginning May 15th through October 15th, 19 hours per week.
This position also includes full hook ups and a space at the park to live.
As we start to gear up for the warmer weather down the road, the Lincoln County Parks department is looking to add a couple of new Park Attendants to their team. This is a seasonal position for the spring and summer months. As a seasonal position, this role is a part time, non-benefitted position.
The person in this role will perform general manual tasks on a seasonal basis at all Lincoln County parks, while observing all safety rules, laws, and park rules. They will be the face of the County for our outdoor enthusiasts as they enjoy some of our wonderful natural beauty.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform general manual tasks on a seasonal basis at all Lincoln County parks:
- Collect garbage and clean Park restrooms.
- Cut brush and mow grass.
- Maintain tools and equipment.
- Maintain picnics tables and fireplaces in safe working order. Maintain signage.
- Assist campers and other Park users.
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Education Level
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum Experience Level
None
Desirable Qualifications: Previous experience maintaining public parks and contact with the public preferred. Bilingual competencies and translation abilities desired. *Bilingual employees upon completion of qualifying exam may receive an additional stipend.
Knowledge of:
- The maintenance and use of tools and equipment.
- Knowledge and skills to operate small powered tools such as weed eaters, power saws and lawn mowers.
