Position Summary
Lincoln County Public Health (PH) is looking to add a Public Health Accreditation and Policy Analyst to its Modernization and Advancement team. We are looking for a driven employee with strong organization, communication, and time management skills who can produce high quality work products in the areas of workforce development, policy, and Public Health Accreditation.
Alongside the Modernization Program Manager, this employee will lead efforts to maintain the PH division's status as an accredited public health department. This work will span the entire division and allow the employee to work closely with the division's leadership team.
This employee can also expect to lead a variety of activities with the aim of developing internal employees and enhancing the culture of the PH division and to assist the division with its policy work, both internal and external.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
Public Health Reaccreditation :
- Develop and implement systems and processes to ensure that Public Health Reaccreditation requirements are achieved through the day-to-day operations of the PH division.
- Work with PH's leadership team to develop years-long plans to systematically meet Reaccreditation measures.
- Routinely monitor progress towards achieving Reaccreditation.
- Communicate with PH division staff and partners about progress towards Reaccreditation.
- Participate in the development of PH division plans and policies to ensure conformity with Reaccreditation requirements.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) Annual Reports.
- Assemble Reaccreditation documents in alignment with PHAB standards.

Typical Qualifications
Minimum Education Level
Bachelor's in public health; community health.
Minimum Experience Level
Two- Three years' experience in Public Health systems, policy development, workforce development, or project development, management, and / or evaluation.
Desirable Qualifications :
A master's degree in public health, systems, and or policy is preferred. Strong organization and communication skills.

Lincoln County offers a comprehensive benefit package including vacation, holiday, and sick leave as well as medical, dental, vision which is paid at 90% by the County and 10% by the employee. Other fully paid benefits include life, AD&D, long-term disability insurance. Other optional insurances are available. A 401K retirement plan is also provided. The County's current contribution rate is 11%.
Regular and Trial Service employees working between 20 and 39 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible for pro-rated employee benefits.
