Position Summary
Lincoln, Linn, and Benton Counties are bringing their resources and expertise together to assist our entire region with prevention education and services.
The person in this position will assist in building community capacity, mobilizing partners, coordinating prevention services within human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and sexually transmitted infection (STI) service areas, and the collection and analysis of prevention data to improve health outcomes within our marginalized and high-risk populations around the region. Assist in the management of a network that is a partnership of HIV and STI care across Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties.
This role is also responsible for facilitating and identifying aspects or areas to enhance network activities among partner organizations and ensuring cultural sensitivity, equity, and access to care across the three counties.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
Partnership collaboration function :
- Mobilize partners and build community capacity to address STI disparities, engaging diverse community partners to identify societal issues contributing to disparities in the Linn, Benton, Lincoln counties.
- Identify and coordinate STI prevention resources among community partners within the region and among community partners.
- Convene a regional STI taskforce consisting of key agencies and collaborative community partners.
- Collaborate with regional partners, raise awareness of STI / HIV prevention and testing services, identify and address barriers to testing, coordinate outreach activities and facilitate and coordinate referrals.

Typical Qualifications
Minimum Education Level
Bachelor's in public health, communicable disease prevention and control, infection prevention and / or related field.
Minimum Experience Level
One year in one of the following areas : community organizing, HIV and STI prevention, and / or data management.
Substitution Note : 5 or more years' experience conducting outreach, community organization, or community health may substitute for minimum education level.
Driver's License
Oregon Driver's License required
Specifics : Must obtain within 30 days of employment.
Desirable Qualifications : Bilingual and / or bicultural competencies for the Latino population are preferred.

Lincoln County offers a comprehensive benefit package including vacation, holiday, and sick leave as well as medical, dental, vision which is paid at 90% by the County and 10% by the employee. Other fully paid benefits include life, AD&D, long-term disability insurance. Other optional insurances are available. A 401K retirement plan is also provided. The County's current contribution rate is 11%.
Regular and Trial Service employees working between 20 - 39 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible for pro-rated employee benefits.
