Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior PLC Programmer located in Chattanooga, TN at Lincoln Electric Automation. The Senior PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems. Daily tasks include developing and debugging ladder logic, integrating human-machine interfaces (HMIs), performing system diagnostics, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role requires travel to client sites for installation and maintenance support.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming, ladder logic, and troubleshooting
- Experience with human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and system integration
- Strong understanding of automation systems and industrial controls
- Ability to perform system diagnostics and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to travel to client sites for installation and maintenance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
- Experience in the welding or manufacturing industry is a plus
