- Develop comprehensive mechanical designs for switchboard enclosures, busbars, and structural components, utilizing advanced CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for all components, considering cost-effectiveness, performance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Lead the mechanical design process to strictly comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ANSI, IEEE, IEC, local codes, UL891, UL67, UL508A, UL50, and National Electric Code (NEC).
- Work closely with electrical engineers, design teams, and project managers to achieve project objectives seamlessly.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging standards, innovative materials, and cutting-edge design methodologies.
- Maintain accurate records of all design changes, revisions, and updates.
- Actively monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities through design optimization without compromising quality or safety.
