About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Level Switchboard Design Engineer to join our team at Lincoln Electric Products Co. Inc.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and innovating our low-voltage switchboard products, working closely with electrical engineers, design teams, and project managers to achieve project objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and engineering principles, with extensive experience in switchboard design and a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that meet stringent safety and performance standards.
You will be responsible for developing comprehensive mechanical designs for switchboard enclosures, busbars, and structural components, utilizing advanced CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models.
A key responsibility will be to select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for all components, considering cost-effectiveness, performance requirements, and industry best practices.
The successful candidate will lead the mechanical design process to strictly comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ANSI, IEEE, IEC, local codes, UL891, UL67, UL508A, UL50, and National Electric Code (NEC).
