The Lincoln Electric Engineering Co-op and Internship Programs provide meaningful experiences that will enhance your education. Co-ops and Interns will be based at one of our U.S. locations with a majority of the opportunities based in Cleveland, Ohio. Positions will vary based on engineering discipline and academic level achieved.
Learning while earning : The Engineering Co-op and Internship Programs are designed to give candidates the opportunity to gain practical experience that will prepare you for a future at Lincoln Electric. The projects you will work on are real world scenarios where you can impact true business outputs. As a member of the program, you will be exposed to a wide variety of engineering and operations disciplines such as :

Various networking events are held to interact and socialize outside of the office with not only Lincoln interns, but interns from other area companies, providing a unique perspective on building a career in Northeast Ohio. Previous events have included : National Intern Day, bowling, golfing, and luncheons with key leaders and executives.

Professional Development : As the Welding Experts, we couldn’t let our Co-ops and Interns leave without teaching them to strike an arc! All Co-ops and Interns participate in a week-long course in our world-renowned Welding Technology Center. Co-ops and Interns are invited to attend our Internship Learning Series Workshops on a weekly basis with individuals and leaders from departments throughout the company. These sessions are designed to introduce Co-ops and Interns to departments outside of their own, along with helping them develop critical skills.
At the conclusion of the term, Co-ops and Interns take the spotlight to present on their project work in front of peers, supervisors, and company leadership.
