PURPOSE: Responsible for the manufacturing processes and the personnel.
Job Description (duties And Responsibilities)
- Supervise departments on 3rd shift
- Direct and coordinate all activities of production departments through core team members
- Responsible for ETM duties for all Euclid divisions
- Communicate with extended team members from cross functional departments within organization
- Ensure, develop, and continually improve processes using root cause analysis, promote safe work practices, and environmental performance within the supervised departments
- Adhere to and ensure that quality products are manufactured within departments
- Responsible for driving attainment of all divisional goals and metrics
- Responsible for moving staffing in departments to meet customer and production requirements and continually improve flexibility of this workforce
- Responsible for maximizing the profitability of departmental operations
- Reports to the Plant Manager, Machine Division
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Technical or Engineering degree preferred
- Prior management or supervisory experience and/or some supervisory training required
- Employee must be an active ETM or successfully become an ETM within one year of hire.
- Able to communicate and deal effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong customer focus
- Uncompromising attitude toward safety, environment, health, and quality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and motivational skills
- Ability to handle employee and production issues in an efficient and professional manner
