Job Description
This is a key role within Lincoln Electric's Automation business unit, responsible for designing and implementing innovative automation solutions for our customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, experience with industrial automation systems, and excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering processes required to design, build, ship, and service Lincoln Electric Automation equipment.
- Assist in establishing project timelines and determining manpower needs.
- Coordinate and lead/participate in engineering design (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic).
- Lead teams in the creation and troubleshooting of control PLC, safety PLC, HMI, and servo motion programs.
- Lead teams in the creation and troubleshooting of robot programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably with a focus on electrical engineering.
- Strong understanding of quality standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well with machine builders, management, and support functions.
