Job Description
At Lincoln Electric, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. This role plays a critical part in supporting quality checks and ensuring compliance with our Quality Management System. The successful candidate will provide technical support to engineers and scientists in production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, maintain, format, compile and manipulate technical data using established formulae and procedures.
- Provide uncompromising attitude towards quality and thoroughly understand the Quality Management System.
- Encourage continuous product and process improvement and maintain manufacturing quality performance metrics and/or quality records.
- Assist with the evaluation, proper identification, and disposition of all non-conforming items and materials.
Requirements:
- Vocational Training & 5 years of related experience OR Associates Degree in related field OR high school diploma/equivalent with 7 years of experience in related field.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and demonstrated computer skills in MS Office and Windows operating system.
- Basic knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, quality assurance tools, procedures, measurement techniques is preferred.
