What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Excellence Systems Lead - SAP Ariba position at Lincoln Electric?
The Procurement Excellence Systems Lead will serve as the leader of initiatives specifically linked to source to pay business process optimization with a special focus on SAP Ariba. They will work, through collaboration with the operational teams, on the design, streamlining and optimization of a group of processes. They collect and represent business needs and priorities, prioritize and manage the change requests and queries, and incorporate feedback from business stakeholders to guide continuous product improvement.

What You Will Do
This role is responsible for all aspects of requirements gathering, documenting the process and providing, if relevant, the information to the implementation partner or the internal IT, master data or Global Data/Analytics organization. You will:
- Understand business and end-user needs; identify and prioritize features to be delivered to meet those needs
- Set expectations with business stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities
- Provide leadership, training and support to improve source to pay practices across the organization
- Develop and maintain global playbooks
- Coordinating with external resources requirements, as required.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization across the global organization
- Establish and maintain the metrics and mechanisms to monitor and measure performance and success
- Enable the successful implementation, user adoption and realization of benefits
- Ariba super user
- Data Steward for Vendor master data
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
- Candidate must be in close proximity to Cleveland, OH and to be onsite at Euclid, OH HQ for support 1-2 days per week
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Operations, Business
- Administration, Management, etc.) and 8 years’ experience
- Excellent project management skills including prioritization, scheduling, written and oral communication skills
- Team player with ability to appropriately navigate, listen and lead with influence within a matrix organization to foster performing teams effectively
- Ability to understand complex business problems and identify and interpret business needs. Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated facilitation and influencing skills to drive decision making among stakeholders with diverse perspectives and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)
- Proficiency with SAP (ECC, Ariba)
