Summary
Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a Time Study Analyst. The Time Study Analyst will play a key role in supporting manufacturing Continuous Process Improvement by performing time studies and associated duties to document and improve labor standards in our Consumable Division.

What You Will Do
- Conduct time studies to promote efficient and economical utilization of personnel and equipment.
- Collect video documentation of new & existing processes in the Consumable Division.
- Directly observe and analyze personnel, manufacturing equipment and work procedures in the Consumable Division.
- Review & understand manufacturing specifications and work instructions. Ensure these align with the time study data used in new & established piecework prices.
- Use computer software for video analysis to aid in time studies, piecework price development and lean analysis.
- Use other data sources including equipment data, production records, and business systems to properly capture appropriate details.
- Apply principles of industrial engineering, such as machine-operator activity charts, line balancing, labor optimization techniques, material flow analysis, spaghetti diagrams, etc. to evaluate and suggest work method proposals.
- Develop cost / benefit analysis for new work methods and equipment.
- Assist with the implementation of a proactive continuous improvement program for existing manufacturing processes.
- Maintain detailed records of manufacturing data across various systems.
- Interact with all departments as required to support Consumable Division initiatives.
- Present time study details directly to production departments.
- Anticipate challenges and recommend improvements to products, processes or service improvements.
- Periodically act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others.
- Occasionally make decisions that affect the business results of the division.
