What are the responsibilities and job description for the Actuary, Annuity Model Development (Remote Consideration) position at Lincoln Financial Group?
What you'll be doing
- Help in leading the development of models to support critical business processes, including Stat, GAAP, and Tax Reserve reporting, Asset Adequacy Testing, Asset / Liability Management, Financial Plan and Economic Capital projections.
- Gain a thorough understanding of existing models and their applications. Make recommendations to improve future models and deliver on the execution of those improvements.
- Collaborate on the development of end user tools to support model validation and analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation, review, and validation of model developments and enhancements.
- Assist with the process of the Annuity Model Development team taking ownership of Annuity models currently being converted from MG-ALFA to Moody’s AXIS

The pay range for this position is $93,300 - $169,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
