What you'll be doing
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with business and technical teams to refine business requirements and convert into concise technical (functional and non-functional) requirements via creating the technical stories for the agile team to execute.
- Organize information to create data models, source-to-target mappings, and solution diagrams.
- Develop, automate ETL data pipelines that implement key aspects of the full data pipeline lifecycle, including acquisition, transformation, management, export, and analytics.
- Experience to efficiently handle complex structures of data and normalize them into a single database structure.
- Develop and support data warehouses and data marts.
- Maintain best practices to facilitate optimized software development, continuous improvement / continuous delivery (CI / CD) and observability.
- Provides input on the development of project plans, test plans and implementation plans including determining estimates on time frames.
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments / trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and / or departmental / enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal / external stakeholders on more complex assignments / projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Analyzes, designs, codes, debugs, integrates and tests increasingly complex software application solutions for systems.
- Analyzes increasingly complex systems specifications of existing programs to determine requirements.
- Prepares and / or generates test data.
- Tests increasingly complex program changes thoroughly to ensure accuracy.
- Partners with internal stakeholders to ensure that systems are designed, developed and implemented from a business point of view.
- Consults and / or participates in the requirements, design and coding walkthroughs to ensure the development of quality solutions.
- Investigates and resolves increasingly complex problems including providing support for production systems in a timely manner.
- Proactively identifies problems and presents / develops solutions.
- Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders and management.

The pay range for this position is $79,601 - $145,100 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
