Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, overseeing campaigns, managing a team, and analyzing performance metrics to drive brand awareness and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, print, etc.).
- Brand Development: Enhance brand presence and positioning through effective storytelling and design strategies.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies to inform marketing decisions.
- Content Creation & Management: Create content development for websites, social media, blogs, and other marketing materials.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a marketing team, providing direction and support.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and other departments to align marketing efforts.
- Partnerships & PR: Build relationships with external vendors, media outlets, and influencers to expand reach.
- Coordinate and communicate with band management to secure assets, approve advertising materials and orchestrate promotion and marketing efforts
- Create all creative requests (Social posts, flyers, menus, photo/video, etc.)
- Create all advertising materials and request graphics/imagery from the creative department for shows and concerts (social posts and stories, posters, etc.)
- Develop ticketing page for all shows
- Post all shows to website calendars with ticketing link and show information
- Create social media events
- Distribute shows to relevant directories (Bands in Town, Jam base, TV and radio station websites, etc.)
- Announce shows per determined schedule on all social platforms and manage/post organic social media content
- Execute ad campaigns to advertise shows on social media (Meta ad campaigns)
- Orchestrate and execute marketing plans and media buys to promote shows, including creating/supplying radio scripts, digital ads, graphics, etc.
- Organize ticket giveaways with radio stations when applicable
- Monitor ticket sales and brainstorm promotions to help sell shows
- Monitor social accounts and provide feedback and answers to show questions on social media and email.
- Provide show content for venue newsletter
- Develop and execute marketing plans and tactics to raise awareness and drive ticket sales for live music
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field or a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Experience with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, CRM software, and automation platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Creative mindset with strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
