Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Store Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store and will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. As a Store Manager, you will be expected to lead by example, manage a team of sales associates, and maintain a high level of operational efficiency.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers have a positive shopping experience.
- Oversee the entire sales process, including sales floor management, product knowledge, and sales promotions.
- Manage the sales floor and ensure that all products are properly displayed and maintained.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and promotions to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of sales associates, including hiring and terminating employees as needed.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving products, and conducting inventory counts.
- Oversee the store's administrative tasks, including managing expenses, tracking sales data, and preparing sales reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and parking lot.
- Manage shift schedules, including creating and posting schedules, managing time-off requests, and ensuring that the store is properly staffed during all hours of operation.
- Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, including those related to sales, customer service, and employee conduct.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to sales associates to improve their skills and performance.
