Job Summary
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and vendors. This role plays a key part in creating a positive customer experience by warmly greeting guests, answering incoming calls, and supporting dealership staff with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system.
- Schedule service appointments and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and customer lounge area.
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and handling mail.
- Coordinate with sales and service departments to ensure smooth communication and customer flow.
- Handle basic inquiries about dealership products, services, hours, and location.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or receptionist role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using dealership management systems (experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar is a plus).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
