Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and fabrication, with the ability to create and assemble precision tools and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of tool production.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair tools and dies according to specifications.
• Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create detailed schematics for tool designs.
• Operate various machining equipment including milling machines, lathes, and stamping presses.
• Conduct inspections of tools and components to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new tooling solutions that meet production needs.
• Perform CAM programming for automated machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot issues with existing tools and recommend improvements or modifications.

Experience

• Proficient in SolidWorks Mastercam AutoCAD for design purposes
• Strong experience in machining techniques, including the use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings is essential.
• Experience with CAM programming is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of stamping press operations is a plus.
• Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations related to tool making.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is highly desirable.
