What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems and Network Specialist position at Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree, preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience within technology support or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation required.
- Experience with administration in a Microsoft Windows operating system, Vmware vCenter/ESXI, Linux, Exchange/Office 365/Azure, and Cisco environments preferred.
- Familiarity and understanding of the functionality and support of all deployed operating systems within the LIU (e.g., Windows, Chrome OS, Mac OS, iOS, etc.).
- Proficiency with the Microsoft and Google Office productivity suites.
- Strong technology skills in working with local area networks and Ubiquiti/Meraki/Cisco products.
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be highly confidential at all times, with full access to all data in the organization.
- Must be flexible to work on multiple tasks with the ability to prioritize and use time management techniques as necessary.
- Must learn new skills, deal with constant change, work in small and large groups, and communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
