Lincoln International follows a hybrid work structure with an emphasis on in office collaboration.

Our employees work in our Chicago office Monday through Thursday each week, with the option to work remotely or from the office on Fridays. Our office is located at 110 N Wacker Drive, just blocks from Union Station & Ogilvie Transportation Center.

Duties & Responsibilities :

The Senior Talent Business Coordinator position at Lincoln International provides an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding, yet supportive, team-oriented environment. Lincoln is seeking a Senior Talent Business Coordinator to join the organization to serve as a liaison between the firm's Talent team and designated business units.

Based in Chicago, Illinois, the Senior Talent Business Coordinator will be accountable for interfacing with the Talent team to support talent-related needs within their designated business unit(s), including staffing and staff planning; onboarding and training; performance management; employee engagement and events; and other duties as assigned. More specifically, we envision the Senior Talent Business Coordinator will be initially tasked with the following with respect to their designated business unit(s) :

  • Support staffing and staff planning, including monitoring staff levels, tracking promotions and departures

Monitor staffing ratios based on current staff levels

  • Track utilization, average projects per person and hours per project to flag inefficiencies or capacity constraints amongst staff
  • Interface with Talent Business Partner to make recommendations on hiring needs relative to staff levels and expected promotions / successions
  • Assist in tracking and managing PTO within the business unit(s)
  • Ensure successful onboarding of new joiners within designated business unit(s)
  • Collaborate with the firm's Talent team and Talent Business Partner to assist with new joiner onboarding logistics

  • Liaise with Business Unit Leaders to ensure onboarding training schedules reflect business unit-specific training needs
  • Follow up with new joiners to evaluate and monitor training, and ensure training objectives are being met
  • Support and inform the performance development and employee lifecycle needs of employees within the business unit(s), including supporting formal and informal performance management
  • Assist in the execution of performance management processes within the business unit(s), including review meeting scheduling, review meeting participant assignments and preparation of review meeting materials

  • Identify and recommend training needs for teams and individuals to Talent Business Partner
  • In collaboration with the Talent Business Partner, support employees experiencing lifecycle changes (e.g. promotions, transfers, employee leaves, etc.) and maintain record of related documentation
  • Support execution of employee engagement efforts and related business unit improvement initiatives
  • Manage the distribution and follow-up of annual employee engagement survey, including coordinating employee feedback sessions
  • Collaborate with Talent Business Partner to implement engagement efforts and track progress
  • Provide an outlet to employees to brainstorm issues and solutions
  • Manage summer internship experience related to the business unit(s) (e.g., scheduling intern lunches and happy hours to get to know members of the business unit(s))
  • Support Talent Business Partner in additional related cross-functional initiatives
  • Conduct regular meetings with Talent Business Partner to provide group-related updates, and consult with Business Unit Leaders on HR guidance when appropriate

  • Support the Talent organization in special projects or growth initiatives that require employee buy-in and change management (e.g., new programs, policies, software rollouts, broader change management initiatives)
  • Other duties as assigned based on business need (e.g., participation in firm project, committees, etc.)
  • We anticipate this role will evolve as the Senior Talent Business Coordinator collaborates with the Talent Business Partners to determine how to best serve their designated business unit(s) and the broader organization.

  • Other Qualifications :

  • Minimum 1- 4 years of experience in HR, business or another relevant field with progressive responsibilities throughout tenure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (clear, simple, situational, multi-level, multi-cultural)
  • Comfort with data and Excel, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Analytically driven and fluent with data-driven analysis
  • Experience within the financial or professional services industries (preferred, not required)
  • Bachelor's degree

    The salary range for this role is $85,000-$95,000 on an annual basis. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Chicago. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.

    This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
