What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at Lincoln Moving & Storage?
Lincoln Moving & Storage, an established Family-Operated Moving & Storage Company is seeking an Operations Manager for their Kent, Washington branch. We are looking for a candidate to grow with the company and be an important part of the family operations team.
This position will report to the Vice President of Operations.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Dispatching crews
- Overseeing daily operations, to include sales and billing, management of all crew and office staff
- Learning the roles of all employees, customer service, office organization, various reporting, overseeing quality control, DOT Compliance, and ensuring the financial success of the branch
- The successful candidate will be a self starter with strong work ethic, high moral integrity, and a willingness to learn. Must have great communication skills in order to coach the crews, as well as the ability to multi task and manage every aspect of the operation. Must have experience using Word, Excel and other MS Office programs. Flexibility to work extended hours is needed during peak season. Experience managing operations of a household goods moving company is a plus but not required.
