Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Establish and maintain project management standards and best practices, including the adoption of project management tools and technologies.
- Create and manage cross-functional plans, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams (and external vendors if applicable) to define requirements and manage timelines.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders; conduct regular project reviews and status meetings.
- Document and analyze current processes to determine effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement, and propose and implement solutions according to the current and future needs of the business.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed; manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
- Communicate roadmaps, progress, risks, mitigation plans, and impacts to senior management and internal cross-functional and remote project teams.
- Steer teams based on business objectives, and continuously align teams to those objectives, in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Advanced skill in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Intermediate to Advanced skill in business analytics, track record of translating data into insights to support business decisions
- Expert knowledge of project management software tools (Asana preferred)
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-directed (directing cross-functional teams and C-Staff).
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to manage through times of uncertainty and change
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong Emotional Intelligence with the ability to work effectively across teams, overcome resistance and navigate a complex organization.
- Experience with process mapping and continuous improvement preferred.
