Early Childhood Special Education: Early Intervnetion Homebased, 2025-2026 (multiple positions available)
Early Childhood Department
The Early Childhood Special Education: Early Intervention Homebased Teacher serves as the casemanager for children with disabilities ages birth to 3 and provides services through the Primary Service Provider Model to children and their families in natural environments. In addition this position also serves some children ages 3-5 who are in community/home child cares.
Must demonstrate the ability and skills necessary for successful collaboration and planning with families, caregivers and community providers as well as other early childhood service providers to implement programming and services to meet the needs of children with disabilities, through the use of a coaching model.
Responsible for the development and implementation of IEPs and IFSP in and other related special education paperwork. Responsible for child and family assessment, collection of GOLD data, collaboration with families/community child care providers on home visits and on-going communication through the implementation of the child's IFSP/IEP. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
This position requires a minimum of 15 additional days and serves on a continuous year calendar in order to provide continuous year services to children and families in order to fulfill Rule 52 requirements.
Position requires travel to homes and community child cares as part of the assignment.
Position requires some flex time with evening appointments with families. Drivers license and dependable transportation required.
