We are seeking a Director of Finance to play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, leading key initiatives, and optimizing performance within a mission-focused organization. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor on financial planning, compliance, and operational efficiency while managing a talented team and driving strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with federal contracting regulations and maintain robust financial controls.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to align with organizational objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance on pricing strategies, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, variance reporting, and risk assessment.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process, audits, and financial statement preparation.
- Develop and execute ROI analysis for key initiatives, including contract proposals and scenario planning.
- Act as a liaison with vendors, legal teams, and operational leadership to drive financial efficiencies.
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and financial reporting functions for operational units.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring professional growth and succession planning.
- Drive process improvements, technology integration, and operational best practices.
- Partner with senior leadership to align financial strategies with long-term organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8 years of finance leadership experience, preferably within federal contracting environments.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret large data sets.
- Strong knowledge of financial compliance, planning, and contract management.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen per federal security guidelines.
- Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) within 90 days of hire.

Compensation & Benefits:
