Title: Computer Science Teacher (1.0 FTE)
Position Summary:
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a qualified Computer Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Our Computer Science Department offers a variety of courses including Introduction to Programming, Game Programming, and AP Computer Science Principles. Our courses stress algorithmic thinking and a project-based approach to learning.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
*Teach a mix of computer science classes.
*Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community.
*Plans lessons that meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students.
*Creates a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive, and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior.
*Provides timely and appropriate feedback to students, with progress reports as needed.
*Communicates with parents to discuss student progress.
*Pursues professional growth through activities in and out of school.
*Cooperates with other professional staff in supporting student learning.
*All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university
*Licensed, or eligible for licensure in Digital Literacy/Computer Science license (grades 5-12) by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement
Experience Preferred:
*2-3 years of relevant experience preferred
*High School teaching experience preferred
