Title: Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher
Position Summary:
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher to cover a leave of absence starting immediately.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
*Teach one section of Algebra 2 Advanced and one section of Financial Literacy.
*Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community
*Plan lessons that meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students
*Create a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive, and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior
*Provide timely and appropriate feedback to students, with progress reports as needed
*Communicate with parents to discuss student progress
*Cooperate with other professional staff in supporting student learning
*Fulfill other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university
*Licensed, or eligible for licensure in Mathematics 8-12 by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement
Experience Preferred:
*3 years educational teaching environment preferred
*High School teaching experience preferred
