Title: Varsity Boys Ice Hockey Coach
Position Summary:
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a Boys Varsity Ice Hockey Coach for the upcoming winter 2025-2026 season.
The 2025-2026 winter season runs from Monday, December 1st through early March. Practices are after school/evenings. This successful program has varsity and junior varsity levels.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
The Varsity Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching a high level ice hockey program while adhering to rules and guidelines set forth by the school, Dual County League and MIAA. The Varsity Head Coach will oversee the entire Boys Hockey Program and should be able to work closely with the sub varsity coaches to ensure a cohesive and competitive program.
Expectations:
*Teaching the L-S Athletics Curriculum
*Must be able to take the MIAA Coaching Course
*Ability to drive the school van to away games
*Ability to work with high school population
*Understanding of high school sports operations
*Work well with high school students, parents and other coaches
*Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
*Understands the importance of fun in high school athletics
*Be prepared, punctual and ethical
Experience Preferred:
*Experience coaching hockey
*Experience playing hockey at the high school level or higher
Stipend as per contract.
