Responsibilities Of a Chassis And Trailer Mechanic Instructor
5 years’ experience in Reefer, Genset, and Chassis repair and maintenance:

Responsibilities Of a Chassis And Trailer Mechanic Instructor
- Teach using approved materials and methods
- Deliver student-centered instruction and objectives
- Ensure compliance with teaching standards
- Enforce school policies and advise students on academics and discipline
- Provide tutoring and academic support
- Maintain accurate attendance and grade records
- Mentor and train team members
- Collaborate with departments to achieve goals
- Maintain containers and chassis to safety standards
5 years’ experience in Reefer, Genset, and Chassis repair and maintenance:
- Including but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of:
- Wheel end and tires
- Electrical systems
- Air systems and Suspensions
- Doors, panels and floors
- Structural Welding (cutting/patching/straightening)
- Locking devices
- FMCSA inspections and guidelines
- Refrigerant Handling license
- Ability to obtain TWIC card
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- High school diploma / GED
- Occasional travel during workweek
- Bilingual a plus
- IICL
- FMCSA
- Welding certification
