What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assisting - Lead Instructor position at Lincoln Tech?
Lincoln Tech is looking for an RN or BSN to provide leadership in our Medical Assisting program as a Lead Instructor. You would ensure quality delivery of assigned courses using the appropriate methods, including teaching, tutoring, and lecturing. You would also be expected to maintain a high student retention rate based on Company, regulatory, and accreditation guidelines.

Responsibilities Of a Medical Assisting Lead Instructor
- Review the results with faculty, students, the Director of Education, and staff as appropriate
- Maintain an inventory of all equipment, book supplies, training aids, and course materials within the respective program
- Assist in ensuring that all instructors are present, and that adequate provisions are made for classes affected by faculty absences
- Assist instructors on delivery methods that address students' different learning styles
- Prepare and organize the lesson materials, equipment, and training areas
- Assist in providing tutoring schedules and office hours to the Education Supervisor and Student Services Manager. Also assists in providing tutoring schedules to the Student Services Department
- Contribute to the curriculum review process, making suggestions and collecting information from instructors
- RN or BSN required
- A minimum of 5 years' practical work experience in the subject being taught and/or previous teaching experience
- Excellent interpersonal communication and public speaking skills
- Ability to produce routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to interpret key statistics related to student retention
