What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Office Admin position at Lincoln Technical Institute?
Lincoln Tech is searching for a detail-oriented Business Office Admin to provide administrative support and top-notch customer service to our students and visitors. Collaborate with our campus teams to craft an exceptional student experience and create a positive environment that fosters growth and success. You will be reporting directly to the Director of Administrative Services in this position.
Responsibilities of a Business Office Admin
- Assist the Director of Administrative Services on projects, events, reports, record-keeping, organization, and administration of the school's Business Office Department
- Servicing of student account ledgers, posting payments and charges
- Reconciliation of daily bank deposits (Student Payments & Title IV)
- New Starts: accuracy of enrollment agreement to data system
- Auditing of student accounts on drops, graduates
- Scheduling refunds, monitoring accounts for accurate postings
- Assist students with inquires and/or direct student to appropriate department
- Distribute books and uniforms to students
- Report to the Director of Administrative Services
Requirements of a Business Office Admin
- High school diploma or GED
- Good figure aptitude
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in producing reports and correspondence
- Customer Focus: desire to help and serve
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
