What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Educator position at Lincoln Technical Institute?
Lincoln Tech is seeking nurses to teach in our LPN program. Teaching experience is preferred, but not required. We will provide you with the training needed to become a successful instructor. The selected candidate will teach our first-level Medical/Surgical nursing course and have a clinical group. Apply now and inspire the next generation of nurses!
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and effectively deliver nursing curriculum in the classroom and/or clinical sites
- Supervise students and demonstrate hands-on patient care at nursing clinical sites
- Teach nursing techniques and provide sufficient practice to students to develop skill proficiency
- Evaluate learning outcomes of students and maintain accurate student records
- Prepare students for an exciting career in nursing!
Requirements
- BSN, MSN preferred
- Active RN license in New Jersey
- 3 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Teaching experience-a plus
- Proficient with technology
