What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Instructor for Business Administration position at Lincoln University of Missouri?
PURPOSE:
This is a Non-Tenure Track Adjunct position in the School of Business. Primary expectations include teaching
undergraduate and graduate Business Administration courses (as assigned) both in face-to-face and online formats
in the School of Business.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to plan and prepare course content and curriculum, utilizing assessment and effective methodologies of instruction for the enhancement of learning aligned with ACBSP Standards.

Collaborate with other faculty members for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the
curriculum. - Provide appropriate classroom and online instruction for students enrolled in business course(s).

Maintain expertise in the field of study and teaching pedagogy by attending seminars, workshops, and
classes for self-improvement and/or professional enhancement. - Desired discipline-specific teaching with a demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness.

Commitment to the philosophy and outcomes of the School of Business. Maintain professional
development activities. - Maintain positive relationships within the University and in the larger community.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge and skills related to teaching students in class and online.

Exceptional interest in teaching business administration and providing mentorship to undergraduate
and graduate students. -
Teaching experience in methodology, curriculum development, evaluation, or willingness to plan for
acquisition of these skills no later than the first year of teaching. - Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, and detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics:
- The ability to teach in a diverse population of students.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Minimum master's degree in business administration or a business-related discipline from a regionally
accredited institution. - A satisfactory criminal background check.
