Purpose :
This is a Non-Tenure Track Adjunct position in the School of Business. Primary expectations include Teaching undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship business courses (as assigned) both in face-to-face and online formats in the School of Business.
Essential Job Functions :
- Ability to plan and prepare course content and curriculum, utilizing assessment and effective methodologies of instruction for the enhancement of learning aligned with ACBSP Standards.
- Collaborate with other faculty members for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum.
- Provide appropriate classroom and online instruction for students enrolled in assigned entrepreneurship and business course(s).
- Maintain expertise in the field of study and teaching pedagogy by attending seminars, workshops, and classes for self-improvement and / or professional enhancement.
- Desired discipline-specific teaching with a demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness.
- Commitment to the philosophy and outcomes of the School of Business. Maintain professional development activities.
- A record of entrepreneurship as a founder, co-founder, or early employee of at least one successful technology startup, or experience working with or supporting successful startups.
- Maintain positive relationships within the University and in the larger community.
