Position Overview:

The Lincoln County Fairgrounds Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the administration, coordination, and maintenance of entries and programs for livestock shows and fairs using Show Works software. This role includes creating and managing livestock entry forms, updating programs and rules, processing exhibitor premium checks, managing the fair's website and social media, and providing general support for events and facilities. This position reports to the Lincoln County Board of County Commissioners and works with the Lincoln County Fair Board and will be considered a full-time employee of Lincoln County. Needs to be flexible and able to adapt to helping with some maintenance duties and any other duties that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Show Works Management:

• Maintain and create entries for livestock shows and fairs through Show Works software.
• Keep programs up to date on Show Works and on the provided laptop.
• Enter and record results for livestock shows and fairs using Show Works.

• Calculate and create premium checks for exhibitors after fairs.
• Develop and manage livestock entry forms and other required documents.
• Edit, maintain, and release fair rules and entry books.

• Create and maintain the Lincoln County Fair Barn website.
• Post regular updates and manage social media platforms to promote events and activities.

• Attend monthly meetings and provide relevant updates and reports.

• Complete purchase orders as required.
• Answer Phone Calls and E-mails.
• Create and maintain inventory lists of the property at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.
• Schedule Events and Maintain Calendar of Scheduled Events.

• Collaborate with exhibitors, vendors, and event organizers to meet their operational needs during events, including the Free Fair and livestock shows.
• Assist in the setup, breakdown, and accommodation of rentals at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.

• Perform janitorial duties to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities.
• Assist with basic maintenance duties as needed.

Schedule and Compensation:

• Flexible Scheduling: Due to the irregularity of scheduled events, hours will vary and may require working beyond the standard schedule as needed.
• Standard Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours per week maximum unless approved).
• Pay Rate: Up to $19.94 per hour.
• Benefits: Includes all county-provided benefits.
