Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CNA Nursing Instructor located in Lincoln, IL. The CNA Nursing Instructor will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in a classroom and clinical setting, developing curriculum, evaluating student performance, and maintaining a safe learning environment.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse License with 2 years of nursing experience
- 2000 hours of work experience in long term care facility or taught theory in an accredited nurse training program
- Completion of BNATP Instructor Course
- Completion of 4 CEUs in Alzheimer's Disease
- Professional Educator License, or ability to obtain
- Approved to teach in dual credit program, or ability to obtain
- Knowledge of curriculum development and evaluation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient care experience in a clinical setting
- Ability to mentor and support students
