PURPOSE AND PERFORMANCE GOALS
Responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. Responds to in-person inquires regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns. Transports guests safely and courteously in the company van in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all guests, personnel and the premises
- Provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards
- Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and guests
- Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
- Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations
- Delivers packages & suitcases.
- Informs front desk of whereabouts at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. Six months to one year customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors, and fellow employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to calculate amounts and apply basic addition, subtraction and multiplication.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to make appropriate judgments regarding the process of assisting guests with luggage and hotel services.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid driver’s license and good motor vehicle record.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Practice written safety standards and rules at all times. Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds. This position frequently requires walking, driving, reaching, and use of hands and fingers.
HOURS
Due to the business demands of the hospitality industry, and the fact that the hotel provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, any employee may be required to work rotating shifts, including
weekends, night shifts, and/or overtime. Also, depending on business demands, hours may be reduced at any time.
