Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the property management operations by assisting with administrative tasks, tenant relations, and facilities management. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.
Duties
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring all aspects are running efficiently.
- Handle data entry tasks related to tenant applications, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate records using property management software such as Yardi and CMMS.
- Support conflict management by addressing tenant concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and oversee facilities management to ensure a safe and functional environment.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of contracts related to property services.
- Provide administrative support, including organizing files, managing correspondence, and preparing reports.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and other legal requirements pertaining to property management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with LIHTC regulations is a plus.
- Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is advantageous.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tenant disputes effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Legal administrative experience is beneficial but not required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
