About the Role
Manages product assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Ensures the promotion of awareness of regulatory and customer requirements throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Tactical operations of the Quality Assurance Department
- Personnel management and team core culture establishment
- Successful collaboration with manufacturing, finance, supply chain, EHS departments
- Management of all aspects of the company quality system
- Regulatory/ISO compliance and document control
- Management of QA processes and inspection of manufactured parts
- Development of product designs and operational procedures
- Evaluation of reports and formulation of fiscal budget
- Conducting management meetings and establishing organizational policies
- Visits and conferences with material and component vendors
- Quality assurance of new products and rectification of problems
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Four to ten years' related experience and/or training
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
