We are seeking a Field Merchandising Manager to oversee in-store merchandising planning, execution, and reporting for our Wearables products in the U.S. market. This role will be responsible for maintaining and updating current retail fixtures across key retailers, ensuring customers can find, learn about, and experience our products in physical retail environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing merchandising initiatives within North American retailers such as Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and more. This role requires strong execution skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee merchandising components, including fixtures, demo units, graphics, and display technologies, ensuring they meet brand standards and are fully operational.
- Manage large-scale retail programs and projects, from planning to execution, across multiple locations.
- Act as the primary liaison between third-party labor agencies, fixture display companies, channel marketing managers, and field sales teams to address retail-related issues.
- Partner with internal and external teams to drive impactful merchandising initiatives with efficiency and accuracy.
- Build and manage detailed execution plans for multiple product lines, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail, reviewing execution instructions and ensuring consistency in implementation.
- Understand fixture production and installation processes, developing workback schedules and cross-functional deliverables.
- Track and report field execution results to internal stakeholders.
- Process invoices and ensure all third-party labor projects stay within budget.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in retail in-store merchandising, either on the brand side or vendor side.
- Strong understanding of retail operating conditions and how they impact planning and execution across product lines.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience sharing project updates across broad teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to track and articulate complex fixture installations.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience managing external vendors.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and implement solutions.
- Interpersonal skills that foster strong relationships and adaptability within different organizational environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with retail partner guidelines and processes.
- Experience planning large-scale merchandising executions and installations.
- Budget management experience, ensuring fiscal responsibility in merchandising initiatives.
- Experience working in mobile carrier and/or specialty retail environments.
