Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled mixed-methods UX researcher with over 4 years of experience in the hardware industry. Adept at conducting research with hardware prototypes, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders. Brings expertise in designing and executing end-to-end interviews, usability, and experimental research with hardware prototypes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to identify, define, and deliver impactful products.
- Develop and execute comprehensive research roadmaps independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Lead diverse research studies across all phases of the product development cycle.
- Contribute to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning.
- Manage research vendors to enhance the capabilities and output of the research team.
Skills:

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior-related field such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics.
- 4 years of experience designing and conducting comprehensive research studies, including interviews, usability testing, and experimental research with hardware prototypes.
Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite, Hybrid)
Role type: Contract 8 Month Position
