This position will heavily concentrate on procurement to support production scheduling/planning, while working closely with the planners and LNA management team. The LNA Buyer is responsible for procuring production components, MRO supplies, office supplies, assisting with travel arrangements for the executive teams at LNA, and other purchasing needs as required.

Work Environment: This job operates in a clerical office setting of a manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration and noise from the production floor.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ related experience

- Work with the planners to procure production materials to support customer orders and on time delivery of products within the required lead time windows.
- Responsible for the procurement of office supplies, production, maintenance, tool room and custodial supplies, manufacturing consumables etc.
- Mange local and group KPI metrics,
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
- Work with customer service, planners and the operations team to analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
- Work with planners to ensure material delivery dates and availability are understood and effectively communicated to the customer service representatives.
- In conjunction with the quality teams, planners and production, review material non-compliance reports for impact on the production schedule, promised delivery date and inventory management.
- Releases purchase orders for raw materials. Coordinates with vendors as needed to provide forecasts and to ensure on time collection and delivery.
- Work closely with and provide guidance to Production, QA and Engineering regards material status and production planning issues.
- Lead local weekly scheduling meetings and attend weekly Global Supply chain meetings as needed.
- Part of Global Supply Chain Team, working on various projects as assigned.
- Travel to suppliers to evaluate and improve partnership relationship.
