What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floating Custodian - 3rd Shift - Custodial/Housekeeping position at Lindbergh Schools?
- Full-time position, 40 hours/week
- Schedule: 12 months, Sunday- Thursday 9:00pm-5:30am
- Beginning hourly rate: $14.57, subject to experience
- Full Benefits included: Medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, retirement
- Non-exempt
Summary: Keep the district's school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Other duties may be assigned.
- Cleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment etc. in the building.
- Restocks disposable items and provides lead custodian with inventory usage and data.
- Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up need equipment
- The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: minor PM maintenance tasks (light bulb & ballast replacement, other minor repairs) of school buildings. There will be regular custodial tasks of cleaning, scrubbing, buffing and waxing.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior Custodial experience preferred but not required
