ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Associate to join our team at our south Seattle warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient warehouse operations by ensuring inventory is organized within the designated space and assisting with both incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries.
\n- Inventory Organization: Implement and maintain a streamlined system for organizing and arranging items within the warehouse to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access to inventory.
- Delivery Acceptance: Efficiently receive and process incoming deliveries, verifying the accuracy of shipments against accompanying documentation and promptly notifying relevant parties of any discrepancies.
- Shipment Consolidation: Consolidate and prepare outgoing shipments destined for various vessels, ensuring that items are accurately packaged, labeled, and documented to prevent damage and facilitate smooth transit.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by participating in regular stocktaking activities and promptly reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all established safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel and comply with all relevant regulations governing warehouse operations.
- Good physical condition; able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis
- Onsite; Must be able to work onsite daily in our south Seattle warehouse
- Proven Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all work tasks.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Forklift Certification: (Preferred) Certification in forklift operation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee will also be required to write and type. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
COMPENSATION STATEMENT
Lindblad Expeditions determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
