Operations Technician - Grinder/Finisher

What you will enjoy doing*
- You will read, understand, and use Job Instruction routers (JI’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA), and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks
- In this role you must display basic understanding and knowledge regarding safe operation of grind machines being utilized to perform the work
- Also you will perform basic math and ability to use gage calibers to determine adherence to customer requirements
- You will perform standard maintenance task and TPM intervals on machines and equipment is required
- You will make minor and routine adjustments to production equipment without assistance
- You will collaborate cross-functionally between operations, engineering, quality departments
What makes you great
- A High School Diploma or GED is required and also experience working in a production/manufacturing and/or plant environment
- You have a mechanical aptitude, analytical and technical ability
- Further you must be able to read, comprehend and understand work instructions and to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- You must be capable of lifting up to 40lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping and crouching
- Working extended hours and/or weekends and holidays may be required
