Operations Technician - Machinist
Brevard, NC, United States | req22601 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
What you will enjoy doing*
- You will use basic machining principles in the finishing of materials
- Further you will read and interpret customer and supplier drawings and specifications
- In this role you must use digital and non- digital measurement tools with an emphasis on dimensional accuracy and precision
- You will operate machinery and tools used in the processing/manufacturing of consumable items
- You will examine parts for quality (both dimensional and visual)
- A High School Diploma or GED is required and experience reading and understanding mechanical drawings is preferred
- Further mechanical aptitude, analytical and technical skills are preferred
- Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings
- In addition you must have basic computer skills
