Senior Manager - Internal Communications

• In this role you will partner with global function leads / designates to develop holisticcommunication campaigns designed to keep more than 65,000 Linde colleaguesworldwide aligned, informed and engaged; you will report to the Associate Director, Internal CommunicationsThe position will be based in the U.S., at globalheadquarters in Danbury, Connecticut (preferred) and reports to the AssociateDirector, Internal Communications; the Linde Technology Center in Tonawanda, NYwill be considered as an alternate office locationYou will use negotiationskills to influence and guide stakeholders to communication best practices, as well as build consensus by appropriately seeking feedback in a highly matrixed, globalorganizationYou will act as primary contact / communication business partner for assigned internal client groups, develop and execute internal communications strategy in conjunction with these colleagues, write content, communication guidance / best practices, and secure required approvals for all communications to ensure that global standards and branding guidelines are metProvide a multi-tiered approach to ensure communication effectiveness to Linde'sdiverse internal employee base (wired and non-wired)You will evaluate communication effectiveness against KPIs and ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communicationmessages. as well as diplomatically respond to feedback from internal stakeholders at alllevels and adjusts communications content accordinglyYou will prepare,edit, and coordinate distribution of internal messages including Intranetarticles, emails, video scripts, PowerPoint presentations, posters, brochurecopy, hard copy mailers and signage, and direct design resource(s) on the layoutof content and complete other writing assignments as requested and provide assistance with various projects and tasks as neededYou will maintain portions of a Sharepoint-based Intranet, partnering with regionalcommunications contacts to keep content fresh and links functional, as well as leverage WebTrends analytics to ensure continuous improvement of content andpositioningWhat makes you greatA bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, business or related field is requiredYou have 7-10 years of experience in internal communications, marketing, corporate story telling or media relations, plus 2 years of experience working in a large multi-national organizationExperience in digital marketing and / or social media content development preferredAbility to influence leaders and peers by leveraging advanced interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and resolve conflict is requiredAbility to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of internal and external customers, colleagues, and stakeholdersSound writing skills, superlative project management and excellent interpersonal skillsExperience with content management systems, project management platforms, digital marketing methods, presentation development and video productionAbility to successfully multitask and work well under pressure with competing deadlines in a high-exposure corporate environmentWhy you will love working with usLinde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company, operating in more than 100 countries worldwide.
