Primary Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing:
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including social media platforms, job boards, professional networks, and direct outreach, to identify qualified candidates for roles across the organization.
- Develop innovative strategies to uncover passive talent and engage candidates in hard-to-fill roles.
- Promote the company’s value proposition and brand to potential candidates to foster interest and engagement.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements, team culture, and long-term staffing needs.
- Provide guidance on market trends, talent availability, and sourcing strategies.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align recruitment strategies with business goals.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for key functional areas, prioritizing critical roles in engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions.
- Create robust candidate pools for current and future hiring needs, conducting regular check-ins to maintain candidate interest.
- Conduct initial pre-screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and alignment with position requirements.
- Recommend quality candidates to hiring managers and recruiters for further consideration, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and progress in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in diversity and inclusion.
- Collaborate closely with recruiters/TA admins to ensure fluid handoffs between sourcing and interviewing stages.
- Track and report metrics related to sourcing performance, candidate conversion rates, and pipeline development.
- Provide data-driven insights to continuously improve sourcing strategies and processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in talent sourcing and recruitment is required, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial services, or engineering environment.
- Strong track record of identifying and engaging passive candidates for technical and/or niche roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting timelines and achieving hiring targets.
- Familiarity with recruitment in industrial gas, energy, or chemical industries is highly preferred.
- Proficient in utilizing sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean searches, and ATS systems (e.g., Taleo, Tenstreet, Cornerstone).
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in diversity recruitment.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements in recruitment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Contract Terms:
- This role is offered on a temporary contract basis, with potential for extension based on business needs.
- Hybrid, with on-site meetings as needed.
