Linde is launching a new world class hydrogen plant in Beaumont, TX! Join us in breaking new ground and become a part of this exciting journey!
Linde has built and will begin operating an on-site complex to supply clean hydrogen and nitrogen to one of our largest clients' in Beaumont, TX. Our new facility is ready to launch and will be integrated into our extensive U.S. Gulf Coast industrial gas infrastructure. It will also supply clean hydrogen to other new and existing off-takers across the network. As one of the world’s leading industrial gases and engineering companies we are playing a key role in the clean energy transition. Linde is actively supporting our customers to decarbonize their operations with the latest technologies for clean hydrogen and carbon capture, and by leveraging our world-class engineering organization, our existing hydrogen infrastructure and operational expertise.
Pay range: $85-100K
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on various machinery and equipment.
- Utilize CAD software to draft designs and schematics for mechanical systems.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess structural integrity and performance.
- Develop and implement control systems using logic controllers and Arduino.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve existing designs and processes.
- Create detailed documentation of repairs, modifications, and maintenance procedures.
- Utilize LabView for data acquisition and system control as needed.
- Work with MATLAB for simulations and analysis of mechanical systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the engineering field.
- Proficiency in mechanical design principles, including experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with drafting techniques and the ability to read technical schematics.
- Knowledge of FEA methodologies for analyzing mechanical components.
- Experience with Arduino programming for automation projects is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies in mechanics.
