Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Personal Banker with a defined pathway to transition into a Compliance Analyst role. This position is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on banking experience while preparing for a future in compliance.
Banking Responsibilities:
- Open checking, savings, money market, and CD accounts
- Maintenance of existing accounts
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Issue debit cards, order checks, and handle wire transfers
- Assist with online banking and mobile deposit banking inquiries
- Provide information on bank products to existing and prospective customers
- Other duties, as needed for ongoing training
Compliance Responsibilities:
- Assist the Compliance Department in managing internal reports, documentation, and recordkeeping to ensure regulatory compliance
- Support the team in reviewing and preparing correspondence related to compliance matters
- Help monitor internal procedures and policies for adherence to banking regulations
- Participate in training to develop compliance expertise
- Other duties, as needed for ongoing training
Qualifications:
- Prior banking or administrative experience (1 year preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving and creative mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in compliance, regulatory processes, or risk management is a plus
