Cook Responsibilities
- Prepare food in quantities according to themenu, recipe, and number of persons to be served
- Comply with state, federal, and all otherapplicable health care, safety, and sanitation standards
- Monitor and record temperatures in refrigeratorsand freezers
- Inspect special dietary restrictions ofresidents to assure that the correct diet is served to residents
- Process diet changes and new diets as receivedfrom Nursing Services
- Ensure that food and supplies for meals are readilyavailable
- Assist in inventorying and storing in-comingfood, supplies, etc. as necessary
